Hot and Cold Circular Saw Blades

Applications of ApexBlades Saw Blades

ApexBlades designs and delivers high-performance circular saw blades for a wide range of industrial cutting applications. Our blades are trusted for processing steel tubes, profiles, angles, rails, billets, slabs, and other structural steel sections—ensuring precision, durability, and maximum efficiency across diverse industries.

Cold Circular Saw Blades (Process Temperature <250°C)

Engineered for Precision Shearing Designed for the rigorous demands of shearing carbon and alloy steels, our medium-to-large diameter cold saw blades utilize advanced HSS (High-Speed Steel) metallurgy. Featuring optimized short-pitch tooth geometry, these blades excel in multi-piece cutting operations where precision is non-negotiable. Thermal Management & Durability Due to the significant kinetic friction generated during ferrous cutting, these blades are specifically engineered to function seamlessly with pressurized cooling systems. Our proprietary surface grinding technique ensures rapid coolant dispersion, preserving tooth integrity and extending operational lifespan even under continuous load. Key Applications:

  •  Solid Steel Billets
  •  Thick-Walled Tubes
  •  Structural Profiles

Hot Circular Saw Blades (Process Temperature >750°C)

Extreme Environment Performance Our specialized hot saw series is developed for the extreme environments of steel mills and foundries. Designed to cut structural steel sections at temperatures exceeding 750°C, these blades feature a specialized heat-resistant alloy body and an elongated tooth pitch. Optimized Chip Clearance The unique tooth geometry facilitates rapid chip clearance and thermal dissipation, delivering clean, reliable cuts even when the material is in a plasticized state. This design minimizes the risk of thermal cracking and blade warping, ensuring consistent performance in high-throughput rolling mills.

Technical Specifications & Metallurgy

Diameter Range: Available from 1200mm up to 2100mm (Imperial: 47″ – 82″) to suit various industrial milling stations. Material Composition: We utilize exclusively premium European-grade tool steels. Our blades are forged from high-manganese carbon alloys, specifically selected for their tensile strength and resistance to thermal shock.

  •  Standard Grades: DIN-standard Manganese-Alloyed Tool Steels.
  •  Performance Series: Proprietary alloy blends enriched for maximum wear resistance in continuous-duty environments.
  •  Custom Alloy: We also offer a specialized impact-resistant alloy developed to minimize crack sensitivity in high-vibration applications.

Performance & Speed Optimization

To maximize productivity, our blades are designed to run at optimal peripheral speeds of 100–140 m/sec. This ensures cleaner cuts, reduced downtime, and higher efficiency in continuous industrial operations.

Precision Starts with Laser Cutting

The preparation of every ApexBlades circular saw blade begins with laser cutting—a critical step where precise calculations and optimized layouts ensure consistency and performance. Our production lines utilize state-of-the-art German-engineered laser cutting systems, reflecting decades of experience in delivering high-accuracy blanks optimized for advanced manufacturing. This high-precision laser preparation ensures absolute consistency in blade geometry and balance.

In-House Heat Treatment for Precision Performance

At ApexBlades, heat treatment is a critical stage in delivering high-quality saw blades. That’s why we enforce strict quality control protocols throughout the entire heat treatment process, utilizing advanced proprietary furnace technology. This rigorous standard ensures optimal hardness, thermal stability, and performance longevity in every blade we deliver, adhering to the strictest European metallurgical standards.”

Our experienced technicians use state-of-the-art heat treatment systems, each tailored for different blade sizes, ensuring optimal hardness, stability, and performance longevity in every blade we produce.

Precision Grinding for Superior Surface Quality

Achieving a flawless surface finish and precise blade thickness is critical in saw blade production. At ApexBlades, we utilize advanced CNC grinding machines to deliver smooth, glossy, high-precision blades that meet the highest industry standards—trusted by clients worldwide.

Automated Leveling for Perfect Flatness

Final tensioning and flatness correction is one of the most crucial stages in saw blade production. While our skilled technicians are trained in traditional hammer leveling, we rely on seven fully automatic straightening and leveling machines to ensure greater accuracy, speed, and repeatability.

Each blade is digitally measured, leveled, and accompanied by a detailed report, which we archive and share with clients—guaranteeing transparency, traceability, and long-term customer satisfaction.

Carbide Tipped Circular Saw Blades for Steel

Our carbide tipped circular saw blades are trusted across the precision tube, profile cutting, rolling mill, rail manufacturing, forging, and steel mill industries. Ideal for single or multi-cut operations, they provide quieter cutting, minimal burr formation, and exceptionally clean surfaces.

Tooth geometry and profile can be custom-designed to match your exact cutting requirements. Available in sizes from 200mm to 800mm (7.9″–31.5″).

  • Friction Saw Blades for Steel Cutting

ApexBlades’ friction saw blades are built for high peripheral speed cutting of steel tubes, profiles, and other structural shapes at temperatures below 250°C. Blade diameters range from 250mm to 1250mm (9.85″–49.20″), with a maximum thickness of 10mm.

We manufacture blades using premium materials such as Chromium-Vanadium (80CrV2 – DIN 1.2235) steel, and for diameters up to 1000mm, Tungsten-Molybdenum (73WCrMoV2-2 – DIN 1.2604) steel. Each core is fully hardened (45 ±2 HRC), tempered, and taper ground for superior flatness and stability.

Tooth geometry and cutting angles are tailored to your saw machine, material shape, and hardness. Blades are designed for dry cutting, with post-cut greasing recommended to extend tool life. Ideal cutting speeds range from 100–140 m/sec, ensuring clean, efficient performance in demanding industrial environments.
